SK Magic | PET’s FURRifier Promotion Terms and Conditions

The “PET’s FURRifier” promotion (“the Promotion”) is organized by SK Magic Retails Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (“SK magic”) and is subject to the following terms and conditions. By participating in this Promotion, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions.

Promotion Period

  • Commences on 1 November 2023 and ends on 31 December 2023 (“Promotion Period”).
  • SK magic reserves the right to vary or suspend the Promotion Period at its sole discretion at any time without prior notice.
  • Unless an Extended Period is announced, any Entries received after 31 December 2023 (due to any reason howsoever and/or whatsoever arising) shall be automatically disqualified. Any participation in the Promotion during the Extended Period (if any) shall be governed by these terms and conditions which shall remain in full force and effect.

Eligibility

  • The Promotion is open to citizens or permanent residents of Malaysia aged 18 and above at the time of participation.
  • The following persons are NOT eligible to participate in the Contest:
    1. Permanent and/or contract employees of SK magic (including its subsidiaries and related companies), including their respective immediate family members, meaning parents, spouses, children and siblings;
    2. Partners, affiliates, representatives and/or agents (including advertising agents and contest management agents) of SK magic, including their respective immediate family members, meaning parents, spouses, children and siblings.
Mechanism

Step 1: Purchase SK magic products either under rental plan or outright plan (Not applicable for: Lumi, Wiz C+ and Samsung affiliates product).

Step 2: Purchase any product or service from SK magic’s partnering pet stores, clinics or boarding centres in a single receipt.

Step 3: Fill in the redemption form which is available at https://promo.skmagic.com.my/sk-magic-pets-furrifier and attach the pet store, veterinary clinic or pet boarding centre purchase receipt before submitting the redemption form.

Requirements

  • Participants must purchase selected SK magic products via SK magic’s official website (with or without SK magic agent code).
  • Participants must key-in SK magic’s Promo Code in relation to the Promotion that is displayed at the partnering pet stores, veterinary clinics or pet boarding centres before checkout.

Reward and Redemption

  • The reward of the Promotion are as follows:-

600 x Touch ‘n Go eWallet reload pin worth RM50.00 each (“the Reward”)

  • The Reward will be provided via email in the form of a unique code that can be redeemed in the participant’s personal Touch ‘n Go eWallet account upon the installation of the SK magic product (which is purchased under the same receipt used for the redemption).
  • The Rewards shall be redeemed by participants on a first-come, first-served basis. If all 600 units of the Rewards have been redeemed, no further rewards shall be available. No more than the stated number of Reward will be awarded.
  • The Rewards are non- transferable, non-exchangeable for cash or other benefits, and cannot be split or modified in any manner.
  • SK magic reserves the rights to substitute or replace the Reward with that of similar value without prior notice.
  • Any visual(s) or graphic presentation of the Reward shown in any form of advertisement, promotion, publicity, and other materials in relation to this Promotion are solely for illustration purposes only.
  • Each purchase of SK magic product shall be eligible for one (1) prize redemption only.
  • Each participant is entitled to more than one (1) redemption throughout the Promotion Period. Participants who make several purchases of SK magic products are allowed to redeem one (1) prize for each SK magic product accompanied by a single unique receipt from the partnering pet stores, veterinary clinics or pet boarding centres.
  • SK magic reserves the right to reject or forfeit any redemption without any prior notice in the event of the following:
    1. The redemption form and/or any relevant documentation submitted to SK magic is incomplete, incorrect, and/or fraudulent;
    2. The participant exceeded the maximum number of redemption according to the terms and conditions herein;
    3. The receipt attached to the redemption form is not from any of the partnering pet stores, veterinary clinics or pet boarding centres;
    4. If SK magic reasonably believes that the redemption is fraud, any irregular transaction is performed, manipulation of any form, or any breach of the terms and conditions herein in any whatsoever manner; or
    5. the selected participant does not meet the requirements of the Promotion or cannot be verified.
  • SK magic reserves the right to select an alternate participant as a replacement of a selected participant at its absolute discretion.
  • SK magic shall not be liable for any incomplete redemption form and/or failure to submit the redemption form within the stipulated timeline.
  • SK magic at its sole discretion may disqualify any participant who, in their opinion, has tampered with or disrupted the process or operation of the Promotion, violated its rules, or engaged in fraudulent activities.
  • In the event SK magic discovers or suspects fraud, any irregular transaction, cheating, hacking or tampering in any manner or form with any process of the Promotion or any part thereof including the redemption process, operation or purchase submission, or if there is any violation of the terms and conditions herein by the participants, and as a result SK magic suffers any loss and/or damage, SK magic reserves the right to claim compensation for such loss and/or damage from the participant to the fullest extent permitted by law.

  • By participating in this Promotion, the participants fully and unconditionally agrees to and accepts the terms and conditions stated herein, and the decisions of SK magic on every aspect of this Promotion shall be final and binding.
  • All pictures and/or images in relation to the Promotion found in any advertising and marketing materials are for illustration purposes only.
  • SK magic shall not be liable in any way for any costs, expenses, damages, liability or injury arising out of or in any way connected with the Promotion.
  • In case of any dispute, SK magic reserves the right to make the final decision which shall be conclusive and binding and no further correspondence or appeal will be entertained.
  • By participating in the Promotion, the participant represents and warrants to SK magic that he/she (i) has met all the eligibility criteria; (ii) has the right, authority and power to enter into the Promotion in accordance with these terms and conditions; (iii) shall provide such proof as SK magic require; (iv) that all the statements (if any and if so required) made to Sk magic are true correct accurate and complete; and (vi) where applicable, at all times and whether in the course of his/her performance in the Promotion or otherwise, the Participant is not allowed to give expression, demonstrate support or associate himself/herself in any way, whether verbally or otherwise, with any cause, issue, movement or material which may be sensitive, anti-establishment, critical of or anti Government or which may be offensive, cause disharmony or upset to any sector of the public or which may jeopardize or prejudice Sk magic in any way.
  • Where applicable, the participants hereby irrevocably grant to SK magic the absolute, unrestricted, transferable, irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide right to use and/or license of his/her name, picture, likeness, voice, biography, statement or material (“Content”) without further compensation, consideration or notice to him/her or any third party, and to reproduce, copy, modify, create derivative works from, display, transmit, broadcast, via all media known now or hereafter devised, the Content, either alone or in conjunction with any other material, in any form, format or embodiment, in connection with SK magic’s advertising, promotion, publicity, trade and/or sweepstakes and/or promotions, activities or materials.
  • By participating in the Promotion, the participants agree that the collection of their personal information will be processed, handled and used by SK magic in accordance with the provisions of Personal Data Protection Act 2010 and the SK magic Privacy Policy at https://www.skmagic.com.my/privacy-notice.
  • Except where prohibited by law, by participating in the Promotion, participants agree to release, indemnify and hold SK magic harmless from and against any and all claims or causes of action of any nature whatsoever arising out of and/or from their participation in any way howsoever in the Promotion or receipt or use of any Reward, including, but not limited to: (a) unauthorized human intervention in the contest; (b) technical errors related to computers, servers, providers, printers or telephone or network lines; (c) printing errors; (d) errors in the administration of the contest or the processing of registrations and entries; (e) late, lost, or undeliverable mail; or (f) failure to award any component of a prize due to Covid-19 restrictions or the occurrence of any similar public health emergency or any other cause beyond the control of SK magic. SK magic shall not be liable for any punitive, consequential, loss of profit, or indirect damages. Ownership of and risk in, and benefit attaching to a reward or prize awarded under the Promotion will pass to the participant immediately upon delivery of the reward or prize.
  • The terms and conditions of the Promotion shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with Malaysian law and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.
